Reconnecting and Disconnecting Connections

Reconnection

If users need to reconnect to the database, use one of the following methods to reconnect.

1. Toolbar at the top of the Schema Object Tree Click [Reconnect icon ()] to reconnect.

2. Use Context Menu Right-click the desired Connection object in the Schema Object Tree and select [Reconnect] from the context menu that appears.

3. Global Navigation Bar (GNB) Select [File] > [Invalid / Reconnect Connection] from the menu to reconnect. Try to reconnect using the above method then the Reconnect confirmation window will be displayed, and click the [Reconnect] button in the window.

Disconnection

To disconnect from the database, use one of the following methods to disconnect.

1. Toolbar

   Click [Disconnect icon ()] to disconnect.

2. Toolbar at the top of the Schema Object Tree Click [Disconnect icon()] to disconnect.

3. Use Context Menu Right-click the desired Connection object in the Schema Object Tree and select [Disconnect] from the context menu that appears.

4. Global Navigation Bar (GNB) Select one of the following options from the menu to disconnect.

• [File] > [End Connection] (Ctrl + E): Disconnects the most recently focused connection.

• [File] > [End All Connection] (Ctrl + Shift + E): Disconnects all connections.

The Disconnect confirmation window is displayed when using the above method, check the target connection in the window and click the [Disconnect] button to disconnect.
