Setting connection and connection information (New Connection)

Adding new connection information

  • Input new connection information in the Connection settings field on the right side of the modal.

  • After inputting, click the [Save] button to save the information. Test is not performed at this time, and the connection information is added to the Saved Connection List.


Modifying Saved Connection Information

  • If the alias is the same, after inputting the modified connection information, pressing the [Save] button will overwrite the previously saved information in the Saved Connection List.


Deleting connection information

  • Select the connection information to delete from the Saved Connection List.

  • Click [Delete] button to delete the selected connection information.

  • After multiple selection, multiple connection information can be deleted at once.

  • A confirmation message is displayed when deleting, and the deletion proceeds after the user confirms.

  • Deleted connection information cannot be recovered, so user should check the information before deleting.


Connection test

  • To check if the connection information entered is correct, click the [Test] button.

  • Test result can be checked in the message window, and if the test is successful, user can connect to the server by clicking the [Connect] button.


Connection

  • Use an existing connection

    • Select the desired connection information from Saved Connection List

    • The selected connection information will automatically populate the connection settings fields, and values can be modified if necessary.

  • Use new connection information

    • Input the new connection information in the Connection settings field on the right.

  • Click the [Connect] button to connect to the server.

    Server information connected to at least once is automatically saved in the Saved Connection List, and user can select it for future connections to automatically fill in the Connection settings field and connect.

When the connection is completed, the following initial screen displayed.

  • The list of connected connections is displayed in the Schema Object Tree Browser on the left.

  • The color of the connection is displayed differently depending on the color specified when setting up the connection, so it can be easily distinguished each connection.

  • The status of each connection can be checked by the icon depending on whether it is connected or disconnected.
