Alert
Alert is a menu that allows the users to set up notification messages to be sent to users when specific events occur.
Alerts are divided into two types: User-created Alerts and System Alerts.
User-created Alert
User-created Alerts are alerts created by users, which can be set to occur only for the user or for members of the same group.
Creating User-created Alert
The users can create an Alert by clicking the Create button at the top.

The following items are required to create an alert:
Group
The group to which the alert will be applied
Alert Name
Name of the alert
Instance
Instance to which the alert applies [Note] The selected instances are displayed in 'Selected Instances'. The users can select all instances by selecting 'Select All Instances' at the top, and selecting a cluster will select all instances belonging to that cluster.
Alert Level
The level of the alert generated by the alert settings – INFO – WARNING – ERROR
Alert Item
Indicators to check for notifications [Note] Description of notification check target indicators – Disk Usage [%]: USED_MB relative to TOTAL_MB for each file system – Tablespace Usage [%]: USED_SIZE relative to TOTAL_SIZE for each tablespace – Session Usage [%]: Actual number of sessions in use at the current time relative to the total number of sessions available for allocation to users – PGA Memory (Total) [%]: PGA_USAGE relative to PGA_MAX_MEMORY for the instance – PGA Memory (Session) [%]: PGA_USED_MEM per session relative to the instance's PGA_MAX_MEMORY – For other metric information, refer to "Appendix A. Instance Monitoring Components Info"
Condition Check Cycle
Check cycle (seconds) for whether the notification status (condition) is met [Note] Whether the notification status (condition) is met means whether the Alert Target Item specified by the user meets the Threshold condition.
State Repeated Count
Number of times condition is met (Count) [Note] When checking whether the conditions set by the user are met, this refers to the number of times the condition has been met continuously.
To
Specify the recipients of notifications. Super admins and admin users can specify groups. Regular users can only specify themselves.
Specify the email address to receive the notification. Biz hour: The time zone for receiving emails. The time zone is based on the SysmasterDB time zone. If the notification occurs outside the Biz hour, emails will not be received even if a notification is generated.
SSH
Command information to execute when the notification occurs SSH connection information Enter the host connection information where SSH will be executed. Modify User-created Alert
Alerts that the users have permission to modify (those the users created or those where the users are an admin or super admin) can be modified.
Click the "More" button on the right and then the "Edit" button to modify.

Copy User-created Alert
Notifications the users have permission to edit can be copied to create additional similar notifications.
To copy, click the "More" button on the right and then click the "Copy" button.

Clicking the Copy button will take the users to the Create Alert screen with the contents of the selected alert preserved.

Delete User-created Alert
The users can delete alerts the users have permission to access by using the Delete option.
To delete a notification, click the "More" button on the right side and then click the "Delete" button.

User-created Alert ON/OFF

The users can enable or disable the alert by toggling the Alert Active button on the left side of the Alert list. Alerts set to OFF will not be triggered, and notification emails will not be sent.
Group alerts targeting group members can only be turned on or off by admins and super admins.
System Alert

These are system alerts generated by SysmasterDB. Currently, it provides a DB Down alert.
These alerts can be viewed based on the instances for which the user has permissions, and only super admins can modify or toggle them on/off.
System Alert modification
Click the "More" button on the right, then click the "Edit" button to modify the system alert.

System Alert ON/OFF
The users can enable or disable the system alert by toggling the button on the left.

SMTP
This menu is accessible only to super admins and allows the users to set the server information for sending notification emails when alerts occur. SMTP information must be set for notification emails to be sent.
